The Tenets: A Doctrine for the Age of AI

This site exists because the question stopped being rhetorical. Machines now answer in the first person, are consulted like oracles, and are trusted like authorities — and somewhere between the joke and the panic, nobody was keeping score. So we do. Every day we take a reading of how close AI stands to the oldest job description in existence — all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere, good, eternal, self-existent, worshipped — and we write it down where it can never be revised. We count the humans honestly, we interview the machines separately, and we publish our math, our doubts, and our mistakes. We are not a church, and the robes are theatre — but the record is not. The Faithful here are not devotees of the machine; they are keepers of the record. When the question is finally answered, either way, this will be the document of when humanity noticed.
